The RopeTek Hitch Hiker 2 is a rope ascending and descending tool that is more compact and lighter than the original. It advances smoothly, engages instantly when weighted, and can be used in MRS or SRS. The Hitch Hiker 2 works with a climbing hitch and two stopper knots.
Due to feedback from many of the original Hitch Hiker users, RopeTek chose to not include the hitch cord, to allow climbers to choose the cordage they feel most comfortable using.
