24-Strand

24-Strand double braid arborist rope is most often used as a tree climber's primary climbing line.  24-Strand rope features a smooth cover that wears best when used with a friction saver device.  Most of a double braid's strength is found in the core and these lines are usually hand spliceable with a Class 1 Double Braid splice.  These modern tree climbing ropes can be used in both moving and stationary rope systems.
