Teufelberger KM PRO Red 11mm Climbing Rope
The rope access and treecare world requires workhorse ropes that perform at the highest level under constant use in often challenging situations. They need a hard focus on low elongation and high strength but without the ‘cable’ feel of solid polyester ropes. The only way to achieve this blend is by merging polyester and nylon. The results of finding that perfect blend, usually result in a higher cost, but not in this case. For KM Pro, we've found the most amazing blend of anti-rotational fiber and paired it with massive efficiency gains. Thus, we were able to produce this high functioning rope at a lower cost than similar ropes.
KM Pro is life safety certified according to EN1891A and CI1805. The MBS is a 35kN (7,865 lbf) with an elongation lower than 2.0%. The polyamide core keeps the rope round and supply, even after a lifetime of use. Meanwhile, the polyester sheath protects that core with a static, strong, chemical and UV resistant jacket.
