Arbortec Breatheflex Pro chainsaw pants have been designed with the arborists in mind. Everything comes down to the weight and performance of the pants, with high tenacity polymer, Kevlar® we can ensure light and durable chainsaw pants.
To increase the comfort of the pants we've included zipped air vents and shaped knees. All this makes the pro pants lightweight, comfortable, breathable, pant for these working on the grounds and climbing.
The crotch is made with Kevlar® to eliminate ripping and incredibly stretchy fabric that allows for the ultimate amount of movement and flexibility in the tree.

- These technical pants have a tighter fit, however, the size can be adjusted by the Velcro side adjusters.

- Saw Protection is rated to Class 1 (20 m/s). EN381-5 Class 1 (20m/s) Design A.
- Reinforced seams at high tension areas: Stronger build for longer lasting pants.
- Kevlar reinforcement at lower leg: Resistance to abrasion.
- Downward facing Pocket Zips: Compatible when wearing a climbing harness.
- Reinforced lining around ankle: Reduces wear from brash and saw bars.
- Zipped Cargo and phone pockets: Keeps shavings and dust out.
- Velcro side adjusters: Adjust the waist size to suit.
- Elasticated boot lace fastener: Reduces sawdust ingress into boots.
- Air Vents: Zipped air vent located on the back of the leg, to help reduce the temperature of the pants while working.


Design Meaning:
- Design A: Provides frontal protection with coverage extending 5 cm to the back. Suitable for professional loggers engaged in standard forest harvesting, who are well-trained and follow strict safety protocols.
- Design A Plus: Enhances the standard Design A by adding calf protection to the back half of the leg, offering 180° protection.
- Design C: Offers full leg protection, ensuring comprehensive safety for more demanding forestry and arborist tasks.

Protective coverage is to the front only.
Where applicable, design A leg protectors intended for users of left-handed chainsaws additionally include the 50 mm-wide strips, as specified and shown on the rear right-hand side of each leg. This design supports the use of left-handed chainsaws.

Design A Plus
This is a special Arbortec type which comprises of design A protection PLUS: rear leg protection from ankle to knee.

Class Meaning:
- Class 1 - Protection against chainsaw speeds up to 20 m/s
- Class 2 - Protection against chainsaw speeds up to 24 m/s
- Class 3 - Protection against chainsaw speeds up to 28 m/s
UL Rating Meaning:
Chainsaw trousers sold in North America must comply with UL certification standards-ASTM F1897-20 for the United States and ASTM F3325-20 for Canada. These define the level and placement of leg protection, with variations between the two countries.
In the USA, UL-certified trousers provide frontal protection with partial side coverage and are available in two design options. In Canada, the standard includes four design classes, offering broader and more specific protection.
