We’ve incorporated the latest technology to create a product that meets and exceeds industry standards to keep you safe and comfortable in the field. Made from the same stretchy Polyamide and Spandex mix found in our Breatheflex Pro Freestyle.

The Deep Forest was tested to BS EN 381-5:1995 and BS EN ISO 13688:2013

- Double Stitching – Get the reinforcement and quality you expect. Avoid tears, rips, and seam failure for longer-lasting wear.
- Reinforced Ankles and Knees – Kevlar fibre reinforced areas offer high abrasion resistance that increases the life of your trousers.
- Trio strand Gridlock Lite Chainsaw Blocking Fabric – Lightweight but heavy-duty, this fabric offers breathable protection that’s unmatched.
- Removable & Replaceable Gaiter – Dust and insects are a problem of the past.
- Hand-crafted – We make each pair by hand in our Portuguese factory
Design Meaning:
- Design A: Provides frontal protection with coverage extending 5 cm to the back. Suitable for professional loggers engaged in standard forest harvesting, who are well-trained and follow strict safety protocols.
- Design A Plus: Enhances the standard Design A by adding calf protection to the back half of the leg, offering 180° protection.
- Design C: Offers full leg protection, ensuring comprehensive safety for more demanding forestry and arborist tasks.

Protective coverage is to the front only.
Where applicable, design A leg protectors intended for users of left-handed chainsaws additionally include the 50 mm-wide strips, as specified and shown on the rear right-hand side of each leg. This design supports the use of left-handed chainsaws.
Design A Plus
This is a special Arbortec type which comprises of design A protection PLUS: rear leg protection from ankle to knee.

Protective coverage is to the front and rear of the leg.
Offers full leg protection, ensuring comprehensive safety for more demanding forestry and arborist tasks.
Class Meaning:
- Class 1 - Protection against chainsaw speeds up to 20 m/s
- Class 2 - Protection against chainsaw speeds up to 24 m/s
- Class 3 - Protection against chainsaw speeds up to 28 m/s
UL Rating Meaning:
Chainsaw trousers sold in North America must comply with UL certification standards-ASTM F1897-20 for the United States and ASTM F3325-20 for Canada. These define the level and placement of leg protection, with variations between the two countries.
In the USA, UL-certified trousers provide frontal protection with partial side coverage and are available in two design options. In Canada, the standard includes four design classes, offering broader and more specific protection.
