Arbortec Freestyle Chainsaw pants have been designed to make the working day easier. It is durable, breathable, and loaded with new features.
The Freestyle Collection has been built with new outer materials and a durable new lower leg material. In addition to durability, the flexibility will allow you to manoeuvre around the job site and canopy of a tree with ease.
The Collection also comes with an elasticated waist, offset seams and articulated knees for extra flexibility and comfort. The crotch is made with Kevlar and an incredibly stretchy fabric that allows for the ultimate amount of movement and flexibility in the tree.

- Hgh back with attachment points for braces with the addition of a ruler pocket.
- All the external pockets are zipped to keep debris out as well as air vents for extra breathability
- Each pair is handcrafted in Arbortec's Portuguese factory to ensure the finished article has been made to the highest standard.

- Elasticated hooks at the base of the trouser to attach to laces of boots.

- Design A trouser (saw protection on the front of the legs only) protection is rated to Class 1 (20 m/s). EN381-5 Class 1 (20m/s) Design A.
Design Meaning:
- Design A: Provides frontal protection with coverage extending 5 cm to the back. Suitable for professional loggers engaged in standard forest harvesting, who are well-trained and follow strict safety protocols.
- Design A Plus: Enhances the standard Design A by adding calf protection to the back half of the leg, offering 180° protection.
- Design C: Offers full leg protection, ensuring comprehensive safety for more demanding forestry and arborist tasks.
Design A
Protective coverage is to the front only.
Where applicable, design A leg protectors intended for users of left-handed chainsaws additionally include the 50 mm-wide strips, as specified and shown on the rear right-hand side of each leg. This design supports the use of left-handed chainsaws.
Design A Plus
This is a special Arbortec type which comprises of design A protection PLUS: rear leg protection from ankle to knee.

Protective coverage is to the front and rear of the leg.
Offers full leg protection, ensuring comprehensive safety for more demanding forestry and arborist tasks.
Class Meaning:
- Class 1 - Protection against chainsaw speeds up to 20 m/s
- Class 2 - Protection against chainsaw speeds up to 24 m/s
- Class 3 - Protection against chainsaw speeds up to 28 m/s
UL Rating Meaning:
Chainsaw trousers sold in North America must comply with UL certification standards-ASTM F1897-20 for the United States and ASTM F3325-20 for Canada. These define the level and placement of leg protection, with variations between the two countries.
In the USA, UL-certified trousers provide frontal protection with partial side coverage and are available in two design options. In Canada, the standard includes four design classes, offering broader and more specific protection.

Almost perfect
The Arbortec Freestyle are really comfortable, breaths well in the necessary areas. In my first few weeks I lost two buttons for the suspenders. The zipper scratches the back of my knees is a little uncomfortable, not annoying enough to address but absolutely worth mentioning.
