Tired of burned fingers and dealing with hungry hitch cords that have a craving for gloves? The Arbsession Prototype Mill presents the Arbsession HITCHnuT.
The Arbsession HITCHnuT is a midline attachable hitch cord tender that installs above your hitch cord to provide better grip and control. The HITCHnuT is made of a 3D printed durable plastic. The threaded device spins open to install and closes again with a simple turn. If you open it too far you will meet resistance that prevents the pieces from separating.
Great for single (SRS) or double rope (MRS) technique.

Rope Diameter Range: 11mm to 13mm
Important: Please make sure the spacing between the HITCHnuT and an SRT device like a Rope Wrench is at least 3 inches apart.
Please Note: The HITCHnuT is designed to wear-in over time. Expect to see grooves and marks on the device over time.

Grip saver for sure
Love this little guy. Saves my grip and my gloves. Makes hitch cords super easy to move. It takes a beating and still comes off rope and functions perfectly. Will buy again when mine finally wears out.

Best choice for production climber
I've used hand turned wooden products before which are pretty and nice. I prefer the Arbsession option as a production contract climber for the replacement factor. This is a fantastic product of which I've owned several. Saves my hands and helps my Arbsession high grip gloves last a bit longer. As others have stated some melting may occur but it wont affect product performance.
It really works!
At first I was a bit resistant to the idea, but once I committed to giving it a real run at work, I fell in love! If I plan to be on a wrench and prusik all day, I leave it on the whole time without issue.
Worth the money
Sweet product for hitch climbers. Has held up much better than I anticipated. It will melt on the edges if your really bombing around a tree, but the melted edges can be pulled off. I will get another one when needed, solid price point. Makes running a friction very smooth. Also prevents gloves from getting caught in the hitch.

I'm quite impressed with this little glove/finger saver these guys put out. All in all im pretty impressed with a lot of their 3-d print shop self made products. As everyone else has said these are awesome and I'll be grabbing another sooner than later, well built and designed at a perfect price point, can't go wrong with good old Arbsession

This thing is awesome I got one as a gift and have been in love with it ever since and will not climb without it. I just bought another one because I sadly lost my first one on a job but just bought a new one because of how good it is. The product is 3d printed so if you do come out of the tree fast or it rubs on your rope the wrong way it will melt a little bit but I never had any issues with it I was always able to remove the melted plastic by hand and use the device as normal after.

Will melt/warp a little on rapid repel, yet its over function is absolutely stellar! My glove has yet to get caught in my hitch cord! So it does exactly what I need it too!

I definitely aged myself with the title, but it does not take away from my feelings of the Arbsession HITCHnuT. I also didn't want to spend $100 on the wooden magnetic thing. That things is BULKY. The hitchnut is awesome. I climb on bluemoon (11.7mm) and amorprus 8mm. It took a couple climbs to get used to. But wow! I now don't have to worry about burning my hands comin down. Plus it isn't bulky at all. I still haven't kept it on my system from start to finish. I keep it in my pocket for descent time. I don't think it would impede my climb, but I don't want it wearing prematurely. Thank you y'all again for an awesome product.
preliminary review
This is very preliminary as I have only had a couple of climbs to try it out. The first climb, my hitch cord was 8mm Armour Prus and it acted jumpy and jerky. Next was on 9.3 Epicord and was butter and very responsive. As I get more time on the Hitchnut I will add to the comments. Certainly much better than $100 for a wooden magnetic deal.
