Arbsession pocketSLING Cap
These clever pocketSLING caps are brought to you by the Arbsession Prototype Mill. They help splicers provide a better termination on the end of pocketSLINGS or Ultra Slings.
Not only is a pocketSLING cap quicker to use but it is also stronger than multiple layers of shrink tube. It also has a built in guide for the finish stitching.
Select your size based upon the diameter of the cordage that you are burying into itself.

Clean finish of your splice.
No need to figure out what to do with the tail end of the sling you are splicing. Before I would bury inside w/ long taper then I would pull the remaining end inside of itself then add a big piece of heat shrink tubing. Now I just bury inside and cut off. The cap has threads inside and you literally screw this into place. Once snug, run twine through the designated stitching holes. You even have a final spot to place your label then a small heat shrink tube over and you now have finished.
