Comfortable and durable
Very stretchy and comfortable. Fit great and haven't shrunk at all. Very durable so far! Only problem is they show dirt/sawdust (so people know that you're working hard) but I need a couple more pairs to avoid mid week laundry. I'll be buying them!
Great climbing and overall work pants
Great workpants. They dry quickly, the zippers are solid and withstand the abuse rubbing against trees. I wear size 30 pants in general and size 30 fits well. I liked them enough to buy 3 pairs. It covers a week of tree work.
Get the pants.
There's nothing I can say bad about these pants. The quality is on point, as is the case with any of the things i have bought that arbsession has made. They did their due diligence and made an outstanding pair of pants.
Awesome pants but
Wish they weren't as baggy and the 32" length is more like 33"-34". Pants always end up under my boots. Would be great if they were weren't so baggy and 30"-31" length options in the 38" sizes.
New Favorites!
These pants have become my new favorites. They're very similar to the Arborwear Canopy series, which I have worn for years. They are just as comfortable and seem to be just as durable, the only difference in feel is that the pockets are not quite as deep. My one complaint is the big smiley face on the rear end, I prefer that my behind doesn't flash a smile at everyone behind me! Also, I wish there was a khaki option, but the black is growing on me.
Tough pants and not heavy
So far these are great pants. Pretty happy when I got out of the thicket and didn't have any rips or hitchhikers stuck to my pants! Only thing I would like to see different is the zipper pockets to be a little lower or have a double zipper so I can access my cell phone while in my saddle. Overall satisfied and do recommend them.
Great Climbing Pants
Awesome climbing pants with great stretch and well thought out design. I enjoy the hip pockets ability to flip inside out so that I can get all the sawdust out of there. Only reason I'm putting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the side zipper pockets are just a smidge too high and it can be hard to access the zipper in a saddle. Either if they were an inch or two lower or if they had a double zipper setup kind of like a backpack so I could move the zipper down. But overall great climbing pants and I'll be buying more.
Great Pants
Great overall pants. Stretch is good and durability is there. Fit is good. Not overly slim but not baggy. Good pocket size. My only adjustment would be making the leg pockets horizontal opening.
Good bye canopy pants
These are the new alternative to the overpriced canopy pants. Initial impressions are they are a superior product at a much great price. If they last as long as canopy pants or even half as long it's worth it to me. The zipper pockets on both sides is great. They are a little more snug in the thigh department which isn't bad. the back logo I thought was going to be an issue with my tm saddle but after a 4 hour tulip tip prune and weight reduction I didn't even feel it. The other big concern was picket depth for my phone staying in, it turned out to actually be perfect. It stays in the pocket and now it's not an issue to dig it out from the depths of canopy pants pockets. Hopefully the zippers last a long time, on the canopy pants they break quickly if you use the zippers everyday. I will be slowly phasing out my arborwear canopy pants for these. Thanks, Casey and Luke, for an awesome product hopefully we get another color soon.
Awesome
There super comfortable easy to move in all around 10/10 Definitely need different color options/designs
Very comfortable
Fit very well, breath nicely and the material wicks away water. The pockets are placed comfortably where you need them. While wearing spikes, the material doesn’t bunch up underneath your pads causing that annoying feeling. All around a great climbing pant where it’s not going to cost you an insane amount. You can buy 2 pair for the price of 1 competitors. If only there was an Arbsession hoodie to pair these with……..
Best pants!
Just got these and immediately can tell these are my go to pants! Will definitely be getting more soon!
Light, comfortable
I have not climbed in these yet, but upon trying them on, I have to say they fit on the slim side through the waist. I wear 32. They almost fit more like a 30” waist. No need for a belt and not a lot of room for tucking in a shirt or wearing a base layer in colder months. Still going to wear them, I can tell they will be very comfy for climbing in. My advice would be if you’re unsure on what waist size to go with, go one size bigger if you like to tuck a shirt in or wear a belt.
