Arbsession GEARtote+
The idea for the Arbsession GEARtote+ gear bag has been in my head since 2009. Over the years it morphed and it finally made it to production! This 72 Liter gear bag gives the working arborist quick access to various items. I seriously hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed building it. ~Casey

The biggest feature on this bag is a dedicated storage for 2 folding throwline cubes on the exterior of the bag. Most times you arrive at a job and the first thing you need to grab is a throwline. Being able to grab it without having to take everything out of the bag is a game changer.
Another unique feature is an internal divider system. Space out your gear to your preference. Locate your harness at any point in the bag.
A final unique feature is the hood. It is built to have multiple uses. It can be used to store your odds and ends like your helmet, lunch, etc. Another feature is that because it comes with a cinch style skirt you can use it as storage for a mini climbing system. With this use you can remove the hood via a zipper and take it with you. This removes the need for you to carry your entire gear bag to the back yard if you are just pruning a small tree.

Great bag appears to be well built.
I have not had geartore+ very long but I really like the layout of it. I am able to fit saddle, 4 lanyards (2) 10', 15' & to 20', 100' of climb line in the main compartment. Cords, pulleys, and carabineers on inside of zippered front opening, throwline cube with throwline & weight on one is the side pouches. I haven't designated the lid yet but it could easily hold a helmet or a spare climb line, lanyards, clothes, etc. This thing has a lot of room but don't expect a huge duffel bag type room. For instance I have to fold my saddle up a little to fit. Bottom line is I like the bag and I would buy it again.
I was reluctant to try it
I actually received this bag at a local ISA comp as a prize for winning the comp. I was content with all the bags I had and left it on the shelf for a bit. I honestly didn’t even take it out of the bag for months. Figured it was just another cheap gear company give away. I had a strap break on my other bag and needed something quick. I moved 3 bags worth of stuff into this bag and it was even more organized. I enjoy it more every day. It is very well thought out and made to last. My favorite feature is the 2 throw line pouches!
Great quality bag
This bag has made packing my gear out on job sites less of a chore. Able to fit all of my essential gear and comfortable to wear on my back. Very happy with this purchase
Best gear tote
Received this as a birthday present about a month ago, and I can not speak highly enough of this tote. The storage capacity almost feels unlimited. I have way more gear in my GEARtote+ than I would ever need on any one job, just because I can, and the positioning of the straps really minimizes the weight factor on my back. I have never been so purely excited about a new tote for my climbing gear!
Perfect Gear bag for those well-organised
My partner and I were thrilled to welcome the legendary Arbsession GEAR tote into our home! Upon receiving the gear bag for the first time, my partner and I were speechless; we had never seen a bag so well-made. The helmet compartment was spacious and detachable. Inside the central storage area, there were three distinct sections. We began discussing how to organise our gear. We decided to place a climbing rope bag (with an 11.8mm, 60-foot rope) and a couple of lanyards in the bottom section. The middle section was perfectly designed for a harness. Finally, we filled the top section with ascenders, pulleys, carabiners, and other equipment. To keep everything secure, we adjusted the Velcro on the side wall to properly compartmentalise each section. We’ve had so much fun opening the zippers on each pocket—more than 30 times! The design and sturdiness are exceptional. We highly recommend this bag to everyone.
Best gear bag I've had
Ive owned several different gear bags from different manufacturers. The geartote+ is by far my favorite. 2 months of daily use so far. Its built tougher than any other bag I've had while providing the best storage solutions for my climbing kit. I keep my Protos, MB 2.0, 2 small rigging ring slings, small CMI pulley and sling, 3 different lanyards including a 30 footer, 3 mechanical devices as well as 2 or 3 hitch-climber setups, 2 foot ascenders and a knee ascender, extra biners and 2 silkys, 2 friction savers and a Recoil Audax. I get complimented regularly. My only criticism would be its only available in grey. I absolutely love it!
