ART Cocoon 5 Pulley with Loop Sling
The ART Cocoon 5 redirect pulley has a unique design that features an ingenius closure of the cap nut. Dyneema slings, rope slings or the RopeGuide’s ZipAbsorber disappear inside the pulley and are secured with a pin. The cap nut is tightened with little force and no tools are needed.
This set includes the 50cm soft, non-slip 8mm MegaTwin kernmantle rope sling produced by Gleistein for ART. It is designed to be installed in the ART Cocoon pulley, but can be used for other applications as well. The sheath consists of 100% abrasion-resistant, age-resistant polyester. The braided core consists of 50% Dyneema and 50% polyester.

- If the cap nut is loose, a black O ring provides enough resistance to prevent further releasing.
- In the extremely improbable case of further release, a yellow or red signal ring appears, which indicates that the cap nut is not tightened.
- This mechanism has a high safety margin and has been thoroughly tested
- Cocoon 5 can be mounted in multiple directions with a 90° twist of the bar. This helps orient you safely orient your ropes.
