ART Snake Anchor
Longer Anchor in 2 Lengths
The ART Snake Anchor is a multifunctional anchoring device with TunnelRing. It is 16 mm in diameter and made with parallel sewn polyester rope, with sewn segment seams, which allow a gradual length adjustment and can be used as shock absorber when a force of 5 kN or higher is applied. The Snake Anchor can be used as basal anchor or in-tree anchor.
- 250cm (~8' length) or 500cm (16' length)
Details
- Mobile anchor point and connecting means with gradual length adjustment
- TunnelRings made of structural aluminum using a machining process from solid material
- Can be used as a lower or upper anchor point and as a connecting means
- Gradual length adjustment (approx. 7 cm steps for the 2.5 meter version, approx. 9 cm for the 5 meter version)
- Securing the position in a choking installation using a snap carabiner
- Can be used as an adjustable cambium protector with a carabiner or rollers
- Very good abrasion resistance with a wide support thanks to parallel sewn 8 mm double-strand polyester rope
- Very high load capacity and protection of the rope eye thanks to the ART TunnelRing principle
- Increased safety and tensile load through even distribution of the load across the entire TunnelRing
- Static load capacity of the segment seams up to 4 kN and at the same time impact shock absorbing properties of the segment seams from approx. 5 kN

Easy installation
I've had mine for about 3 years and love it. Has very many size adjustments for branches. The ART Snake Anchor can be used for a redirect or even wrap it at the base of the tree and lock it of to be a base tie for SRT
