Takes Some Practice
I'm bad at hand tossing and want to get better, but this thing is just so much faster. It has still taken quite a bit of practice to get it to shoot exactly where I want, but it gets the throw ball way further than I ever could hand tossing. I read that using the separate trigger gives the rubber bands time to relax and makes it not shoot as far, but haven't tested it myself. Even if I get good enough at hand tossing to make 95% of my shots, I will still keep this around for that remaining 5%.
The classic
The Notch big shot is the traditional line setting slingshot. It works great and is way better than hand throwing.
Go big or go home
The Notch big shot system seriously improved my ability to set high tie in points! Especially good for more vertical shots and running the gauntlet through a bunch of smaller branches where hand throwing isn't really an option.
