The 360° Swivel Mount with knock around rotation means less maintenance and less weight, allowing you to lift more. No lock is needed, customers with competitor's products have reported over the years that locking pins sheer and spring returns break.
Large 56" opening & lightweight @ 239 lbs, automatically returns to center. Many Tree Guys refer to the BMG as 53", however, we've managed to get an extra 3" on the opening!

I've used every attachment there is. Nothing is more productive and versatile than the Branch Manager grapples. The "knock around" style without powered will take a little practice to use effectively, but has its unique advantages over the "powered rotation" option that is also available. We have two "knock around" Branch manager grapples on our skid steers, and we love them.
worst grapple ever
biggest piece of scrap metal on the market. Considering it’s made by an arborist, the design is a nightmare. You have to fight against the hose design every day just to get the grapple to turn and to chip. Hoses are ALWAYS in the way & restrict rotation. Grapple doesn’t fully close, so can’t grab any sort of limbs 4” or less or they’ll fall out. Back plate with the teeth is the most useless feature, if tilted a decent amount the limbs/logs go flying off the sides as there is not stopping point and they just slide too much either left/right and don’t grab. Better off saving your money for a Ryan’s, a root grapple or any other sort of free motion rotating grapple that doesn’t have such a dumb hose design.
