Hard-Head wedges from Beaver State Plastic shave a machined steel insert on the end of the wedge. This insert covers the driving end of the wedge and some of it extends into the ABS plastic body. This makes the Hard-Head wedge the best driving wedge available.

Awesome felling wedge
No worries with this Beaver Hard Head Felling Wedge and not hitting quite dead center and folding over the plastic end. Stack two together and bring a heavy back leaner right into the drop zone.

This Beaver Hard Head Felling Wedge worked pretty well until the end got a bit beat up but it lasted a while so it was ok.
