They got it right
Can actually fit these in places to make proper cuts. The cordage takes some getting used to due to its small diameter, but it has a good feel with the 5-1 mechanical advantage. The blade is not bypass. It is an anvil style with a slight recess, and makes nice cuts on small diameter pieces.
