It has a 1/2" rope capacity and is currently the smallest and strongest block of its kind on the market. A screw in top knob ensures a positive lock. SS axles, aluminum sideplates and wheels round out the package.

Good things come in small packages
I absolutely love this rigging block. Its virtually unnoticeable when carrying it up a tree. Very convenient when setting up rigging operations in less than ideal work positioning situations. With a weight limit of 21,900 lbs you cant go wrong.
Amazing pulley
This mini block by cmi has been the work horse, of my light to medium rigging, for months now. It's compact size and screw lock swing plate make it great to apply in any situation.
Needs smoother bearing
I have used 2 of these. They both had similar acting bearings which are not super smooth or efficient. I still use them without failure. I like the screw lock as opposed to the push/turn for setting remotely.
Long lasting and light
I have two of these CMI blocks (one is the special edition colors) and use them for span rigging and basic rigging. They are light and with the xchain sling super fast.
Compact and Capable
The is the first block I've used, having only used rigging rings prior to now. Definitely an upgrade! It's nice having the lower friction and smaller footprint while still having a huge rating.
STRONG
Best strength out there for the size. Pair it with a 3/8 HMPE loopie!
Great for a while
Last block I had from them was perfect for 3-4 months of very light use, it cracked and fell apart while I was in the tree. They replaced it for free, now this one won’t unscrew. The CMI 1/2" Mini Aluminum Arborist Rigging Block has never been abused, get stored in a box when done. All I ever used it for was rigging pine limbs and the occasional top. Won’t be buying it again
Great Product
This block has become a very futile tool for my day to day use. Rated for a ridiculous amount of weight at 20000lbs for this tiny little pulley, I seem to pull the CMI Mini Block out anytime I don't want to carry the giant blocks up the tree just to rig out a top! Great Product and a Great Company! Highly Recommend!
