The Distel Aluminum 3 comes with a hot forged newly designed shaft. which is 10 % lighter (50 grams) than the old version.
They have a black annodized blasted surface, feature anti-slip ribs on the underside of the spur and 3 dimensional forging details.
Details
The Distel Aluminum 3 Classic climbing spurs are particularly lightweight and durable. The straight, angular shaft is hot-forged, blasted and black anodised. It also has anti-slip ribs on the bottom of the spur for a firm grip. The shaft transmits the force straight from the foot via the spur and the gaff into the trunk.
The comfortable, padded plastic shells are height-adjustable in 1/4 inch intervals (approx. 6 mm) on the shaft. This allows them to be perfectly adapted to the user’s leg. The Velcro strapping at the top (105 mm) and your choice of lower straps at the bottom guarantee a firm, play-free and comfortable fit.
The PTFE coating on the gaffs protects against corrosion and ensures an easy release of the gaff from the tree.
