One of the coolest swivels on the market
Buy that piece of hardware because once you do you’ll find a million reasons you wish you had it sooner I use this DMM Nexus on my rope bridge and wish I had it years ago ascending up and over branches has never been smoother and being able to fit multiple carabiners is a huge selling point for me also how compact it is climbing a spar and still being able too swing around and make your face cut has never been easier. Doing limb walks and swinging from your right side or left side and having the stock ring get twisted isn’t a issue anymore I love how fluid it is making climbs more comfortable & making hard to reach cuts easier too execute
AWESOME Bridge Attachment
Got sold on this after attending an advanced climbing seminar. The instructor used a DMM Nexus swivel on his bridge. Coming from a fixed ring on and seeing how easily it allowed for positioning, the keeping of rope legs separate during DRT, and the ability to connect 2 carabiners through a single eye, I was sold. Snagged one and put it on my Buckingham Ergo Pro saddle and its been there since. Also allows a second system to be attached for work positioning. Nearly 3 years of use and shows zero wear. Couldn't be happier!
Fantastic swivel
This swivel is great and incredibly fluid in its movement. You can attach two connectors in large eyes, attach to the ring of the swivel floating on your bridge, connect it to anything with a hex key/Alan wrench, and rotate it to make sure it wears evenly. After a lot of use, the DMM Nexus swivel still hasn’t gotten any nicks or burs in the metal, keeping the rope bridge safe from becoming torn up or cut by the connection. The large eyes without a grime make it easy to quickly connect and disconnect while working. I recommend it.
