DMM PerfectO Locksafe Carabiner with Captive Bar
The PerfectO Locksafe carabiner from DMM is a compact true oval connector that minimizes the eye-to-eye length while maintaining usability and easy one-handed use. Their shape provides effective centering of loads and the fully rounded rope bearing areas increase carabiner and rope longevity. Its keylock nose allows snag-free operation. This is the smallest Locksafe gated carabiner that DMM makes and is 14mm shorter than an Ultra O yet still retains a strong construction.

Love this DMM PerfectO Captive Bar for connecting my lanyard adjuster (ART Positioner in this case). Super compact and keeps everything oriented properly. As others mentioned, probably too small for hitch cord setups.
Perfect
I keep coming back for more of these DMM PerfectO Captive Bar Locksafes. They are ideal as attachment points for a lanyard adjuster/climbing device. They are super compact and an easy investment to prevent side-loading. I use one as a quick disconnect between my HitchhikerXF and the swivel on my saddle's bridge. I would not recommend for using with hitch cord such as with a hitch climber pulley. Seems it would be way too small for that use.
Perfect size!
The perfectO is perfect with how small it is. I have many of them and the captiv bar is perfect for keeping my laynard adjuster correctly positioned on my D ring. No more side loading.
Great little connector
I love using this on the Akimbo and my chainsaw lanyards to make everything easily and securely connected, properly aligned, and out of the way, while also being easy to open one-handed, without looking. Their extremely light weight also makes them feel like they aren’t even there, when working with them. This DMM PerfectO carabiner is my favorite way to hang a saw on my lanyard into a clip on my harness.
Great biner!
I use this biner to clip my saw to my caratool... I’ve found that regular carabiners tended to side load and the gate liked to twist open because of it. Problem solved with the DMM PerfectO captive bar!
