DMM Pinto 2 Pulley
The DMM Pinto pulley is loved the world over, but even classics deserve an upgrade, which is exactly what DMM has done with the Pinto 2. With smooth lines, textile friendly connections and a full strength becket, Pinto pulleys are incredibly versatile pulleys that work well in most moving rope systems.
DMM has kept the same compact and lightweight form of the original Pinto but fitted it with efficient ball bearings meaning it will do everything it always has done better than ever.
The Pinto 2 features a recessed sheave design to create a completely smooth rope channel meaning your rope or tagline will never snag and always sit on the sheave when feeding in at odd angles.

Great for small rigging
I always keep one of these with me on a compact sling with the spacer, great for small to medium compact rigging. Nice to have if i need to unsuspectingly need to rig out a branch on a prune.
Love the rated becket.
Being able to clip my lanyard on to the rated becket while installing my main line through the pulley while building a load sharing Pulleysaver anchor is a game changer! Totally lets me weight the system smoothly while staying on rope on a different branch union! I’m sure there are loads of other use cases for it, I just haven’t found them yet.
Describing why this is the perfect lanyard system
I climb for a few companies and always seen most guys use this as a lanyard system with an eye to eye. It always made me wonder why when there are so many great mechanical devices out there. After using the zillion & notch glide rope grab , & the classic rope grab I see why the pulley system is a favorite among many being able to go from a lanyard & DRT system is huge especially for those long limb walks. a secondary drt system can make a world of a difference especially if your running srt and using the lanyard as a 2-1 too advance positions with less fatigue sometimes simple is the best!
