DMM Tendon Ascent Aid
The DMM Tendon provides a tidy solution for lifting knee ascenders providing improved efficiency while ascending ropes. A long length of high performance shock cord is routed around the full circumference of the user's waist, resulting in a greater elongation range and more consistent tension as it stretches. The whole system fully retracts neatly inside when not in use. The smooth and flared inlet to the tube and the dyneema mantle of the elastic reduces wear, improves efficiency and increases lifespan.
The XSRE Swivel Carabiner provides a secure and compact means for connecting into the knee ascender. Both ends of the elastic can be used for the connection of a XSRE Swivel Carabiner, doubling the lifting power and helping to keep the system aligned.
- The Tendon Tube Clips are designed to interface with 5mm attachment holes on the DMM Kinisi harness (or Teufelberger treeMOTION harness).
- You could install the Tendon on other harnesses with zip ties or similar solutions

Really nice piece of kit
Really a nice piece of kit. I use the swivel side to tan my knee sander, and you are able to put an accessory carabiner on the other side, which I used to keep my bridge swivel in a consistent spot. All around a well-thought-out bungee system.
Great addition
At first glance I was skeptical. I actually had the supply's to make one from scratch... it worked okay, you could see the benefits instantly. My homemade version wasn't perfect by any means... ordered the dmm version and the Tendon rocks for knee ascender tethering... allows you to minimize the size of the knee ascender unit.
