The ultra-light, clean nose DMM Ultra O carabiners are the mainstay of DMM's carabiner range, and for good reason. Not only do they give high strength to weight ratios and feel great in the hand, they also help to keep components of a system aligned. The deep symmetrical basket allows pulleys, webbing, ropes and even other carabiners to center naturally and still allow easy stacking of components on either side. A connecting classic.

Great carabiner for all types of applications in the tree.

Best Carabiner...Period

The Ultra O is arguably the best carabiner for tree workers, period. The gate mechanisms on DMM products are incredibly smooth, and the ferrule has just the right amount of texture to grip well. O's aren't the go-to for a lot of other at-height industries and recreational applications, but in Tree work, they seem to be, and nobody makes a better one than DMM.

Nice & smooth

Nice shape use these on my chainsaw lanyards. DMM Ultra O carabiners work great when putting them on the rock exotica transporter. Very versatile

Only good things

I have nothing, but positive things to say about these DMM Ultra O carabiners. They're my favorite carabiners and my go to. I've never had to replace one and they always pass inspection!

Favorite carabiner

This is my favorite carabiner. I have been using DMM Ultra O Locksafes for about 5 years. Easy to open (especially one handed), good durability and feels great in you hand. I know all biners pass tests and standards. But when it comes to life support I like that they are made in the UK and not in asia.

My favorite.

DMM aren't as tough as others, but they have the right feel. Rock Os almost end up in the chipper, and petzl doesn't feel good. Maintain them correctly and they will last you a long time.

Can't go wrong

What can I say about this carabiner that most don't already know? It's the first biner that I climbed with. DMM Ultra O carabiners are easy to open one handed. Be sure to keep it clean. These do seem to get gunked up easier than my rockos and petzls.
