General Directions:
Hydretain® Pro helps plants extend soil moisture availability under a wide range of growing conditions. Pre-stress treatments are recommended for best results, but the product may be used at any stage of the plant life cycle. Applying at planting, seeding, sodding, or transplanting may support stronger establishment. 40-pounds treats up to approximately 15,000 sq. ft. For optimal performance, irrigate thoroughly after use to move the product into the root zone. Watering immediately is recommended; however, irrigation within 3 to 5 days is acceptable. Hydretain® Pro Granular becomes active only after sufficient watering. To avoid mower pick-up, delay mowing until after irrigation or rainfall. Continue deep watering when irrigating treated areas. Reapply every three months, or monthly as needed. If results are not observed within two weeks, repeat at the recommended
Application Equipment:
Apply Hydretain Pro Granular using drop or rotary spreaders designed for granular products. Calibrate equipment before each use to ensure the correct delivery rate. Apply uniformly across the treatment area. For best coverage, apply half the product in one direction and the remaining half at a right angle. Check equipment regularly to confirm proper function and even distribution. Avoid skips or overlaps.
