Felco C2 Wire Cutters
The Felco C2 Wire Cutters can be used to cut the individual strands of multi-strand EHS cable when installing Rig Guy Wire Stops. They are especially designed for repetitive cutting of high strength steel cables. The cutters feature a specially shaped cutting head with a smaller opening for smaller diameters and supple spring for greater comfort.
The Felco C2 Wire Cutters have an intensely hard, long-lasting blade - 10% to 15% harder than the Felco C7, itself renowned for the hardness of its blades. This makes the ergonomic cutter consume much less cutting effort. The smaller handle opening of five inches gives a better fit for smaller hands. The triangular cutting action delivers a progressive cut for wires and cables. The blades squeeze and restrict the cable instead squashing it.

Important Note: The C2s will not cut the 3/8" strand out of the box. However, they are fairly easy to modify by grinding (you can use a chain grinding wheel but a dremel tool or any similar device would do). Grind a small amount off of the tip of each jaw. Just enough for the 3/8" cable to go into the jaw.
