FTC Klik Climbing Spurs with Ratcheting Straps

$599.95

FTC Klik n'Ka tree climbing spurs are as light as carbon, as solid as aluminum, and very comfortable.  FTC's designers went the extra mile to make adjusting easier for you using a micrometric fastener system. They are very light and innovating spur.  The goal was to combine comfort with a precise and easy adjustment.

The thick preformed padding allows for a comfortable support of the shins, and the micrometric buckles enable a quick and perfect adjustment. The comfortable support to the shins is provided by the thick preformed foam. The micrometric buckles help adjusting the spurs quickly and precisely, for a better support during rigging works.

KLIK N'KA: the name comes from the combination of KINKAJOU (an arboreal mammal living in the tropical rainforests of South and Central America that moves about with their claws) and CLIC-CLAC, the sound of the micrometric fastening system, a major innovation of these spurs.

COMFORT AND OPTIMAL SUPPORT

The thick and comfortable foam has been specially developed for KLIK N'KA claws. It is held perfectly in place on the shell by a Velcro strap and a textile flap. This also prevents the insertion of chips between the shell and the comfort foam, increasing its lifespan.

The hull made of epoxy fiberglass and carbon composite is both very strong and light. Its positioning on the bracket is very simple using 2 screws. 4 adjustment heights are possible.

The assembly ensures optimal comfort for the shin over the entire height of the shell, reducing stress on the support areas.

QUICK, EASY AND PRECISE ADJUSTMENT

This closing system is unique on retaining claws. It allows precise adjustment in just a few clicks and effortlessly for perfect support. It is very easy to adjust the tightness with one hand, even in the shaft.

It is possible to pre-adjust the length of the high and low straps.

The sliding strap of the lower strap allows ideal positioning of the square with the heel of the shoe, all you have to do is tighten the strap using the "click-clac" buckle.

Just like tightening, unlocking the buckles is done with one hand and without effort.

GAFFS

The tip is designed in a pyramid shape. The flat bottom thus ensures support in the wood and prevents the tip from turning (unlike round tips).

The pyramidal shape also allows easy penetration into the wood by spreading the fibers, and easy removal.

The tips are those of the STING AND STAY claws, simply adapted to allow the KLIK N'KA fixing strap to pass through.
