FTC Matriosac Nesting Throwline Bag Set
The FTC Matriosac V3 bag set is composed of two round bags that fit into each other and fold to a compact size. Two sets for throwing can be stored, i.e. 2 throwlines and 4 throwbags. The inner pocket is oriented so that when the bag is carried with the side handle, the gear stays nicely put. It is also equipped with a large pocket under the large bag, for extra gear (cambium saver, throwbags, carabiners etc.).
Folding the bag holds the throwline flat at the bottom. four straps with quick-release buckles hold the set folded together.
Once it is open, the FTC Matriosac is very stable, held on the ground by the bags and accessories held in the bottom pockets that act as ballast. Its round profile means a lesser wind surface area. The bottom is reinforced and waterproof therefore it is stronger and offers the gear a better protection against ground moisture.

Why use a Cube
Pretty sweet storage. Having multiple lines in one package is nice. It is a little bulky so it would have to be kept in truck, and you kind have to avoid tilting it a lot or the lines can become tangled. The ball storage is a little silly, its at the bottom underneath the lines, so you have to lift up the lines to put it in there. I usually don't even use those pockets, can just attach the ball on top to the velcro on the side. A side pocket would be better. The whole thing feels more durable then the cubes. Plus its harder to lose since its bigger and brighter than most cubes I've seen. The FTC Matriosac is not perfect but its better than the cubes.
Better than cube
I love having 2 full throwball set ups on hand. Extra storage too for other stuff. The FTC Matriosac is a bit bulky, so not great to stuff in your gear bag, but keep it in your truck and its golden. Only bummer is the little clips can snag the line if not careful. Some pics show the bag with velcro instead, which solves that problem
Matriosac is legit
The matriosac is so much better than any of the other throwcubes on the market. Nice compact shape, easy to manage throwline
