FTC Tranformeur Modular Rigging System with Winch
Big discount on discontinued model
In order to complete its range of rigging devices, FTC has chosen a modular system. The FTC Transformeur system allows for several configurations, and the basic gear components can also be used by several teams for smaller rigging works. FTC designed it as a configurable friction kit that can be used in the littlest circumstances or the biggest rigging jobs. The TRANSFORMEUR is a friction system that you can adjust according to the work to be done.
This complete rigging system includes:
- (2) FTC Mini Cylindre HR Aluminum Lowering Devices
- (1) Primary Mounting Plate
- (1) Antal 44XT Winch with handle and winch plate
- (1) FTC Croch'ty Mounting Aid
- (1) Carrying Case
- (2) Ratchet Straps
Set up your system according to your exact needs. The only limit is your imagination! The TRANSFORMEUR can be configured 3 ways according to the kind of work to be performed: the more the rope is wrapped, the harder the friction. What’s more, the symmetry of the system allows left or right location of the ground crew depending on the worksite restrictions.

Seriously perfect piece of kit.
I have had this lifting and lowering system for around two years or so now and have found it to be amazing for complex rigging situations where multiple lines need to be performing different tasks at once. I operate out of Black Mountain NC and found this piece of kit to be priceless when the team and I were faced with some pretty wild situations last year when Helene hit. We were tasked with removing quite a bit of trees and tree parts from homes with tight access and no crane space. The FTC Transformeur really helped us make some great things happen. Pair this monster with a GRCS, Keanu, and a couple of heavy duty drills and the fun and magic is just about endless!
