The HAIX Protector Ultra Lime Green leather logger boots are built to orthopedic criteria and help to promote foot health. Built in ankle protection and support keeps your delicate ankle area safe and secure; so important in preventing ankle injuries. The Vibram® hiking sole gives you extra grip and slip resistance to keep you on your feet even in colder temperatures.
GORE-TEX® Inner Liner and HAIX® Climate System
The breathable European sourced leather, combined with a waterproof GORE-TEX® inner lining, ensure your feet stay dry and comfortable all day out in the field. The built in Climate System carries moist air out of the boot through vent holes at the side and on the tongue. The Climate System helps your feet maintain a comfortable temperature whether working in cold or warm weather. HAIX® recommends a good wool blend sock as a wool blend is better able to work in conjunction with the climate system, wicking away moisture and keeping your feet drier. And the adjustable lacing allows you the ability to be flexible in your choice of socks, whether it be a thicker sock for cold conditions or a thinner sock for warm conditions.

Not for wide width
I bought mine at an expo. If you have wide feet don't bother with the Haix Protector boots. I made the mistake of an impulse buy at the expo, felt tight the guy assured me they would wear in. They didn't. Now they collect dust.
An amazing all around boot!
The Haix Protector ultra has been an amazing boot and game changer. Iv been using them every work day for over a year and they have proved themselves durable, comfy and supportive. The are good for long days in spikes or evening pruning jobs due to their stiff sole and sticky Vibram rubber. I production climb in the south east and have worn them in over 100 degrees tempts along with taking them out contract climbing all the way to Kodiak Alaska. This proved to be a long trip of wet and muddy terrain, but they have stayed dry and breathable during all types of weather. Check them out especially if your looking for a wider toe box and stiffer boot.
LOVE THESE
These have become my favorite boots. Yes they are heavy and stiff, but that also comes with many benefits. Its all personal preference but i love the extra support and protection. I have also been very impressed by the durability of the Haix Protector boots. Im going on year 3 with these. Although I do wear other boots for certain applications for work too tho.
