It’s be hard to switch to anything else
Love this ISC 27kN Aluminum Double Action Snap Hook on my lanyard. Easy to open with one hand. Climbing arborist posted a video of his getting locked open on a spar. Though this is not something I have experienced, I certainly take it into consideration. I use 3-in-1 oil to keep gate functioning smoothly.

I went to this ISC Double Action snap after using a carabiner for years on my positioning lanyard. I haven't had any problems with it and have enjoyed its ease of use and design. It is a great addition to my set up and look forward using it for a long time to come!
Favorite Snap hook
I love how easy this ISC snap is to operate one handed without looking. The narrow hook part makes it easy to clip into small attachment points. A lot of other snaps cant even clip into things that this one can. Its sleek and is very well made.
