ISC Chipmunk Flex Rope Wrench Tether
The ISC Chipmunk Flex Rope Wrench tether measures 9 inches, which is 3 inches shorter than the original ISC Squirrel Flex Tether. The short Chipmunk tether allows users to reduce the overall height of their SRT climbing system. A compact climbing system allows climbers more reach-space above the system, therefore enabling longer arm strides and greater efficiency during ascent.
Just like the Squirrel, the Chipmunk is constructed from high quality, durable rope with an advanced Polymer over-mould, to create a super-rigid tether, with just the right amount of flex!
The Chipmunk FLEX has sewn eyes which offer a snug fit, firmly holding the karabiner in order to maintain stiffness in the system. The Chipmunk FLEX Tether has a central connection point that allows for connection to a chest harness.

Great
It’s stiff but not to stiff, flexible but not to flexible. Comes with an accessory carabiner which is a nice touch . You’ll need a shorter Prussic cord it is a very compact system, only thing I can say out of the Box is the eyes are almost a bit to tight but hopefully will loosen up a bit. Ran mine with a Arbsession hitch on 26” epicord(9.3) worked great!
Depends on your knot
Works great, I just prefer the VT over a michoacan or a distel. If you use a VT, purchase a larger wrench.
