ISC Spring Locking Compact 1/2" Rigging Block
At approximately half the size of the standard small rigging pulley and weighing in at only one pound, the ISC Compact 1/2 inch Rigging Block offers a highly impressive strength to weight ratio.
The pulley plates are made from hot forged aluminum and it is this manufacturing process which allows such a compact pulley to boast such great strength and dynamic load bearing capacity. The ISC Compact Rigging Pulley is fitted with a spring-lock closure mechanism.

User friendly and can take some big chunks for the size!
Efficient and compact
Great small block with a very smooth and efficient bearing. I like this for all small rigging except for setting it remotely because of the push/turn lock.

Very nicely made, feels solid and well built. Good to work with—it has soft edges which are easy on my hands and the rope. It is "just" a pulley, but a very nice one. I am very happy with this purchase.
Every day rigging kit
This ISC is my go to rigging block for every day work. Light and easy to haul up. Stronger than it looks. And that spring closure gives me confidence it wont open up throughout the day.
Small but mighty
This block is worth it’s weight in gold. The ISC compact rigging block is perfect for light to medium rigging, redirects on heavier rigging, and like Greg said, MA systems for pulling small to medium trees over. Super light and super strong.
Stronger than it Looks
If there was ever a one-size-fits-most block, this would be it. This ISC rigging block is so compact which makes working with it in the tree incredibly easy, but it is insanely strong for its size. In average residential tree work, there's little more breaking strength required and this little guy has handled everything I've thrown at it from rigging to ground-level redirects pulling heavy trees over.
