ISC Ultrasafe Hand Ascender
ISC Hand Ascenders are sleek and ergonomic by design. They are machined from high-strength aluminum extrusion and are suitable for heavy-duty use. All ISC Hand Ascenders have both primary and secondary attachment holes, are fitted with stainless steel cams and come with moulded, comfort-grip handles.
The RP240 Ultrasafe Hand Ascender is fitted with a pin to limit the range movement of the cam in order to prevent the rope from being accidentally pulled out between the cam and the body. ISC Ultrasafe Hand Ascenders have moulded comfort-grip handles.

Excellent functional tool!
The ISC Ultrasafe has my favorite cam and release mechanism which is usable with one hand to engage or disengage from the rope. You can also release it with moderate tension on the cam which is valuable in high pressure situations. I wanted the professional version that doesn't have the lock pin but it's easy to cut the red cord to make the device more convenient and ergonomic.
Not for big hands
Did not like the plastic handles on this ascender. It feels cheap and not thought out. The ascender itself is fine, but with my big hands I felt like I might as well grab the rope.
