good design, one flaw
The cut-safe design with the blade not exposed in the hook area is a huge improvement for safety and not harming the tree when hanging your pole pruner on limbs you're not cutting. The parts quality is superior to the Marvin/Notch pruner heads. However, the rivets attaching the hook to the aluminum base get loose over time though and have to be replaced with screws. This has happened on coworkers' Jameson pruners as well.
