Kevin Bingham Singing Tree Milled Quickie
Developed by Kevin Bingham, the inventor of the Rope Wrench and Rope Runner, the Original Quickie is a locking steel connection that can be used for nearly everything you would use a carabiner for and more. Plus, the Original Quickie is less than half the size of standard carabiners!
The Original Quickie makes a perfect connection for a base anchor or canopy anchor because it doesn't suffer from the side loading problems of a standard carabiner. Also, the quadruple action slic pin rotates, lowering friction when used to choke a rope.

Love a good quickie
Quick way to set a crown or base anchor and easily adjust the amount of rope in the system. Useful for midline redirects and setting a crown anchor from a base tie.
The one to rule them all

Not just for canopy anchors, also makes a sweet choking redirect! Or a bomber link for your base anchor. It’s steel, it’s real, and it loves to party all year.
Good quality, one missing feature
I've been using this for a few months (rec climbing, so not every day) and it seems to be very well built and good quality. The one thing I miss compared to a friend's quickie is that his has a sloped groove cut in (on the inside of the leg the pin goes through first, not where it could in any way lead to unintended opening) that aids in compressing the latches; that makes it much easier to fully open especially while wearing gloves.

The Kevin Bingham Singing Tree Quickie - Milled is great! Own one and I think I need another. Useful for canopy anchors and spar anchors.
I use two of these most of the time.....
I own two of the milled Quickie's...One I use for my base anchor and one on my rope wrench. I feel better using the milled rather than the forged...It's a peace of mind thing.
