The Stihl 1/4" inch bar will work, however it is open on the back end and you will have more bar oil leaking vs the Makita bars.

These 1/4 pictch sprockets will only fit the cordless model Makita chainsaws. The coreded saws have a difference bellhousing sprocket.

The Makita 1/4" Pitch Sprocket does what its supposed to do, allows me to use a 1/4 chain
