Revive Plus is a soil-applied amendment built to improve soil structure, water dynamics, and biological activity at the root zone. It combines 5-micron micronized biochar with humic and fulvic acids, along with fish hydrolysate, kelp extract, yucca extract, and molasses. Each component has a specific role, and they’re doing different jobs in the soil.
The biochar provides stable carbon with very high surface area, which improves aggregation, increases porosity, and enhances water-holding capacity. It also acts as a long-term adsorption site for nutrients, helping reduce leaching and keeping fertility in the root zone. Humic and fulvic acids bind nutrients in the soil and hold them in a form that stays in the root zone but remains available for plant uptake.

Fish Hydrolysate
Fish hydrolysate is a minimally processed organic input containing amino acids, peptides, and organic nitrogen. Unlike synthetic nitrogen sources, it does not create a rapid flush of growth. Instead, it:
- Provides readily usable nitrogen and carbon for soil microbes
- Supplies amino acids that can be directly taken up by roots under some conditions
- Supports microbial biomass and activity, which drives nutrient cycling over time
Molasses
Molasses is a source of simple sugars (labile carbon).
- Provides an immediate energy source for soil microbes
- Helps increase microbial respiration and activity shortly after application
- Works in combination with biochar by helping populate and activate microbial communities on the biochar surface
Kelp Extract
Kelp extract contains a range of plant-derived compounds, including trace minerals and naturally occurring growth regulators (e.g., cytokinins, auxin-like compounds). In soil systems, it:
- Supports root growth and branching
- Contributes to plant stress response signaling
- Provides additional micronutrients and organic compounds that support both plant and microbial function
Yucca Extract
Yucca contains natural saponins, which act as surfactants. This affects how water behaves in soil:
- Reduces surface tension, improving water infiltration
- Helps water move more evenly through hydrophobic or compacted soils
- Improves wetting of the root zone, especially in dry or sandy conditions
