Usage:  Abacide 2™, is a concentrated abamectin for use on forest, Christmas trees, seed cone nurseries and ornamental trees.  Because Abacide 2™ insecticide is both xylem and phloem mobile, it provides superior management options for difficult to control insects with a single application.

Abacide 2™ can be applied in spring or summer as a preventative treatment prior to the emergence of insects or as a curative treatment after they are observed.  A single application typically provides season long control.

Abacide 2™ may be applied during late summer or fall to manage conifer bark beetles the following spring with options of single- or 2-year management with higher dosages.

Standard injection spacing is every 6 inches of circumference. Narrow-leaved evergreen trees such as pine, spruce, larch or hemlock the injection spacing is recommended every 4 inches of circumference to facilitate better distribution.
