Customer Questions
A sewn eye wouldn't need to fit because you can attach the rope midline. You just need to back out the bolt and swivel the plate to the side. Install the rope and then replace the bolt.
It works for me
Not as smooth as i was expecting but could also just be user error and with more practice with this device im sure it will be fine. im happy that im not quicker on this than my standard prusik rope style
Unique action
This adjuster is nice for the unique action that also allows your to grab the rope as you release the device all with one hand. The pin screw can loosen and is not fool proof to visually assess.
Ok once you're used to it
Was excited to get one of these for free at a conference, but disappointed once I started using it. It does glide smoothly under load, but it only grabs and glides at perfect angles. Releases much too easily in awkward positions in the tree, especially using a double lanyard setup.
