Love it!!
I started using the Vertec last week. Based on some comments from others with the Vertec, I just upgraded right away to use the Vertec Aeris Kit. What I've found is that is very smooth going up and down, tending is very easy. The only gripe I may have is that the toolless adjustment is impossible to work with gloves on or if the fingers are all sweaty - but it is toolless. But once set, it is great.
No complaints
Gets me up on SRT fast and everything runs how it should didnt have any complaints and im now quicker when it comes to adjusting my work position when up in the tree.
Issues but can be fixed
So I will start off saying I really was excited for this device. After getting it I quickly realized there are some issues. The bottom cam replaced a pulley on the original rope runner pro and rope runner OG. I didn't think at first this would be a big deal.........well if the system has any load in it at all it is rather difficult to tend the device. The added friction is applied both ways. Good news is they have now released a fix and there is a replacement pulley for the lower part of the device. I haven't tried it yet but I am sure it would be great once it was installed.
