Not just for rigging
I like to use one of these for a canopy tie. I sinch an alpine butterfly around it and I can do a quick canopy tie that has reduced friction where the rope on rope point would have been which allows for retrieval with a natural crotch redirect.
Great piece.
Having these in the canopy is a great accessory. Notch X-Rigging rings can take a heavy load in a negative rigging situation.
A use for nearly every job
The most Versatile piece of rigging gear, in my opinion. Whether you just need to lower down a limb real quick or want to add friction in your system, these X-Rigging rings are the way to go. Either use a single eye spliced into a sling or an eye to eye. Personally, I prefer the later.
