Cheap and worth it
This is a simple and straight forward gear hook. It can't handle a big saw but it's great for webbing loops, rigging points, and the like. The yellow plastic will fall off pretty early on but the wire gate stays put.

This is well made and very handy for gear storage, but I've broken a couple by now. Maybe I should get the lower profile one. Someone let me know.
