Petzl Sequoia SRT Tree Climbing Harness SIZE ZERO
The Petzl Sequoia SRT is a tree care seat harness for ascents on a single rope. It has a ventral attachment point that allows a Petzl Zigzag or Petzl Zigzag Plus mechanical Prusik to be installed with Petzl Chicane and Petzl Knee Ascent accessories. The extra-wide, semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide comfort for the arborist. It is equipped with Doubleback Plus self-locking buckles on the waistbelt and Fast LT Plus buckles on the leg loops. The gated attachment points allow the user to easily connect a Petzl Zillon or Petzl Microflip lanyard, or to install several attachment bridges and accessories directly on the bridge. The harness also makes it easy to carry and organize work tools, with multiple equipment loops and slots for attaching Petzl Caritool tool holders.

- DOUBLEBACK buckles for adjusting the height of the attachment bridge and allowing the arborist to position him/herself comfortably; the buckles have a plastic cover to help keep them locked - Easy to carry and organize tools:
- Nine pre-shaped equipment loops with protective sheath
- Five slots for CARITOOL tool holder
- Two retainers for a carabiner to hold a chainsaw or handsaw
- Elastic band for attaching a first aid kit - Can be accessorized in order to adapt the harness to its use:

Comfortable
Climbed in a Tree Motion, and Tree Rex 2. This is more comfortable to wear for hours in the tree.

Petzl Sequoia SRT Tree Climbing Harness Pros: It's super light compared to other saddles I have used, it has plenty of slots for caritools and has more attachment points than you will ever need. Cons: Being light also makes it flimsy. No back support. You will need the shoulder support because once you hang a saw on it the saddle will start to creep down, taking your britches with it. I swear it feels like I am wearing a wet diaper. I still prefer my Weaver 390 batten seat saddle over these modern saddles and still choose it over this one most of the time. The belay loop is the thinnest I've ever seen, even on rec harnesses, the bridge is much shorter than the picture leads you to believe, and I found out recently that the bridge traps have been known to break. I do not recommend this harness.

I've been using this Petzl Sequoia SRT harness everyday for at least two years since I had a lower back injury, its ergonomically design back support is wonderful, its easy to adjust, and has a ton of great features to fit different climbing styles
Versatile and comfortable!
This is the most comfortable saddle in my opinion. So many options as far as gear storage, bridge versatility, and adjustability. I will be using the Petzl Sequoia SRT saddle for years to come.
Excellent choice for the price
Nice and lightweight. Lots of options for stowing gear. The Petzl Sequoia SRT harness has good comfort and padding. Not necessarily the best choice if you hang large saws off your harness all the time. SRT belay loop is a super handy option.
For the husky climber
If you are a husky climber and take it to the limit (the weight limit) then this saddle is for you size 2 of course. The Petzl Sequoia SRT is super comfortable and balances top heavy fellows like myself very well. Plenty of gear storage options and tons of connection points. Easy to change configurations between pruning and removal setups. Comfortable beyond belief. I can spend all day in this thing and fly around in it like a Panda.
Won me over from TreeMotion
This Petzl Sequoia SRT saddle was one I held off on for years, but as my TreeMotion was expiring I decided to give it a change. Wow is this a fun, lightweight saddle. It feels much lighter than my TreeMotion, but very functional. I mostly use this for rec climbing and light pruning. I have another good TreeMotion that feels more equipped for big tree removals. This saddle can be tweaked and set up for your exact needs. Definitely a quality Petzl product.
