Petzl Sequoia Tree Climbing Harness SIZE ZERO
The Petzl Sequoia is a tree care seat harness for doubled-rope ascent techniques. The extra-wide, semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide comfort for the arborist. The waistbelt is equipped with a Fast buckle for quick and easy fastening and unfastening without loss of adjustment, even while wearing gloves. The leg loops have Fast LT PLUS buckles. The gated attachment points allow the user to easily connect a Petzl Zillon or Petzl Microflip lanyard, or to install several attachment bridges and accessories directly on the bridge. The harness also makes it easy to carry and organize work tools, with multiple equipment loops and slots for attaching Petzl Caritool tool holders.

- Two gated attachment points allow the user to easily connect a ZILLON or MICROFLIP lanyard, or to install several attachment bridges (fixed or adjustable) and accessories directly on the bridge (RING, SWIVEL)
- Attachment bridge provides lateral mobility
- Mobile side attachment points allow the user to follow the orientation of the lanyard during lateral movement - Petzl Sequoia is easy to adjust:
- Waistbelt equipped with a FAST buckle for quick and easy fastening and unfastening without loss of adjustment, even while wearing gloves
- Leg loops equipped with FAST LT PLUS buckles with a locking system that limits the risk of it involuntarily unfastening
- DOUBLEBACK buckles for adjusting the height of the attachment bridge and allowing the arborist to position him/herself comfortably; the buckles have a plastic cover to help keep them locked - Petzl Sequoia is easy to carry and organize tools:
- Nine pre-shaped equipment loops with protective sheath
- Five slots for CARITOOL tool holder
- Two retainers for a carabiner to hold a chainsaw or handsaw
- Elastic band for attaching a first aid kit - Seat may be attached to improve comfort during prolonged suspension

great harness
I have been climbing on the Petzl Sequoia Tree Climbing Harness since 2018 and it has its ups and downs but definitely more ups than downs! Its super comfortable and weighs nothing! The only down side to this harness is the gear loops. I do wish that they where a little bit stiffer, they can be kind of hard to find mid climb if you are someone that likes to put everything back in the same spot every time.

Great saddle
The Petzl Sequoia Tree Care Seat Harness is a great saddle. Lots of attachment points for you and your gear. I have had this for 2 years and so far holding up well. It is very comfortable and allows for a lot of movement while aloft. Only improvement i can think of would be optional suspenders for the long removals on gaffs.
Our go-to saddle
The Petzl Sequoia Tree Care Seat Harness is our go-to saddle in tree care. Great for SRT and DRT. We like to use a center floating ring as well.
Super Comfortable
I have had this saddle for a couple years now. I absolutely love it. The saddle is very light! I can spend a long day in the tree and be just fine. The Petzl Sequoia is one of the best saddles I have ever used. I would recommend this saddle to any climber both new and seasoned!
Highly recommend
I've been using the Petzl Sequoia saddle for about 3 years and I love it, I think it's the best bang for the buck in its price range. I use a double lanyard set up for spikless climbs and the two sets of d rings keep things comfortable and organized. I put a second bridge with a ring on mine wich makes pivots much smoother
Best Seat in the House
I climbed in the previous version of the Sequoia for approx. 5 years, and every single improvement I thought of during that time has been included in this new version. Firstly, if you're climbing on a modern SRT setup including a multiscender and a foot+knee ascender, you don't actually need the "SRT" model, which is designed for the use of chest ascenders and similar techniques which are, quite frankly, out of date. The harness as a whole is amazingly comfortable. The leg pads have been widened for better support. The new fast buckles are just as fast once you're used to them, and far more secure. Lastly, the bridge and lower D's are an immense improvement, and offer both multiple bridges as an option as well as easy-to-find attachment points for positioning. I'm going on 9 months climbing on this new saddle, and it does NOT disappoint.
