I've had a Williams ball locks for a decade now the fact it's 27kn makes me feel safe I love the ball locks compared to Auto locks... would definitely recommend...
quick and easy
The Petzl William Ball Lock is the best carabiner i've ever had. Easy to use and feels good in either hand. Great for work positioning lanyards where they're used more often.
Munter Hitch Perfection
I use this carabiner on a redundant bridge for descending on a Munter Hitch. The Petzl William is quite possibly the best carabiner in existence for using a Munter on. The ball lock functions fantastic and I find that style much easier to work with my non dominate hand as compared to a TRIACT-LOCK.
