Pfanner Protos Integral Ear Protection
The Protos® Integral Hearing Protection Set is an innovative solution for people working in noisy places, providing significant noise reduction (SNR=26 dB) and meeting EN 352-3 standards. Made from durable injection-molded plastic, it ensures long-lasting use and reliable coverage in environments with loud and harmful sounds.
One notable feature is its flexible design, allowing an easy switch between active and passive modes with just two fingers. Should have replaced sooner
I have had my Protos for just under three years. Finally replaced my Pfanner Protos Integral Ear Protection today and noticed the difference instantly. The new springs create a much tighter seal around the ear, but I’ll still double up with plugs underneath while running a chipper or saw for an extended period of time. These are the only muffs to my knowledge that are rated for side impact protection.
