Rock Exotica Hydra Swivel Pulley
The Hydra from Rock Exotica is a triple attachment pulley which features a swivel-top connection to facilitate the pulley's use on the saddle bridge, and for use in climbing systems.
Details
Any tool for arborists needs to be lightweight, durable and serve a variety of functions. The HYDRA fits that description by providing the functionality of a pulley with a rigplate. The HYDRA’s swivel top offers three connection points lined with rubber o-rings to grip carabiners tightly. These connection points were specifically designed for the rockO carabiner to avoid dangerous cross-loading.
The most simple use of the HYDRA pulley is on the rope bridge of the saddle, but it can be used in a variety of advanced ways. The Hydra is used in ascent systems, lanyard systems, fliplines, or as a redirect as shown below. In any configuration, the use of the HYDRA is greatly enhanced by the flexibility to add multiple connections and rotate when needed.

Necessity
The best bridge attachment out there
Excelente
Me encanta utilizarlo en el puente de mi arnes por sus tres agujeros son muy útiles para enganchar varias redirecciones
Not my favorite for bridge
Got this for bridge attachment point. The pulley makes it tough for sideways positioning because there is nearly zero friction so it slides too easily to the end of the bridge. Don't have another use for it so it just sits now. Great quality as anything from RE.
A must
Gotta have it to make your rope bridge setups complete. If you’re running an akimbo or rrp in DRT you’ll appreciate everything this Rock Exotica Hydra has to offer
Fancy pants
It is fancy but is great on a bridge. I would be interested to try the Rock Exotica Hydra with a lanyard setup. Maybe a bit bulky.
Not necessary but totally rad
I run the Rock Exotica Hydra on my saddle, and when I want to use my lanyard as a second system its great to be able to stack my main system and lanyard at the same point. And... it swivels. so that is sweet. 360 spins in the tree.
