Rock Exotica RockO WireEye Carabiner

The Rock Exotica RockO WireEye auto-locking carabiner combines the utility of a standard carabiner with the safety and capability of a lanyard pin, or captive eye. The WireEye holds gear, lanyards and lines with enough resistance to help prevent gear from moving past the end of the carabiner, but releases easily when lifted up. When the potential for dangerous leverage or cross-loading can occur, the WireEye helps keep the carabiner oriented correctly, and the gear where it belongs.

Great carabiner

I should have replaced all my carabiners with these. They are great for the end of my life line and I like them in my hitch climber setup as well. 10/10 do recommend.

Device attachment

This stays on my akimbo and guarantees no sideloading when I weight my system. Nice to be able to easily take things in and out of the eye without tools. Great Rock Exotica quality and a gate that everyone knows and loves...or hates.

Awesome for lanyards

The Rock Exotica RockO WireEye carabiners are awesome for a lanyard. It keeps your carabiner in the perfect position at all times with the wire eye.

Great piece

The RockO WireEye is what I use on my rope bridge. The lower clasp keeps it in place so I don't worry about side loading my life support carabiner

Great on lanyard

Works great for holding a pully and prussic on a lanyard. The RockO WireEye carabiner keeps everything where it should. The gate is a pull instead of push which is kind of a pain, but its just another thing to remind me grab the other carabiner on my lanyard system.
