Best Ascender on the Market
The SAKA on its own is a fully functional device...but when compared side-by-side with its competition, it starts to pull ahead. The special bungee aside, the actual ascender itself is more efficient and lighter weight, which both contribute to better performance. I recently switched back to a competitor's knee ascender for a day which is built around a CT chest ascender, and the difference in efficiency on the upstroke is quite noticeable. There's a good deal more weight and friction that you're fighting on the way up...the SAKA is simply the best.

I started with the HAAS and then later heard about the SAKA and switched. the bungie seems to work better than the HAAS. I'm not worried about it snapping. the bungie on the velox is definitely improved from the base model but even still I personally like the SAKA better.
