Customer Questions
There is a locking function on the SAKA FOLDABLE knee ascender.
In the image the white bungee cord is wrapped around the locking component. You need to flip this down when you open the cam to install the rope. Once the rope in installed and the cam is up against the rope the cam won't go far enough back to allow the rope to slip out. Let us know if you have any other questions.
great ascender
awesome knee ascender, folds up so it lives on my saddle and doesn’t get in the way when not in use. Included foot loop has held up well after using for about a year now.
Got to go foldable
So I recently switched over to using the bungee on my harness (Tree Rex 2.0) and I find that to be the superior option. However this is a great product and I'm still using it in the normal capacity because of that fact. When I was using the bungee on the SAKA it worked superbly and was infinitely adjustable and just great. The foldability is an amazing feature and I still just fold it on up and show it away. If you're running SRS on a harness w/out it's own bungee attachment this is the best pre-fab ascender out there. If you're running SRS without a knee ascender you're seriously doing it wrong. Great product, must have....
It folds!
Same great quality as the original but now fits in my bag nicely! I had broken the guide of my original SAKA in cold weather trying to bend it into my bag so I'm glad this one has come about. Easily storable on the saddle when finished ascending too.
